About the Lexus NX Hybrid

The Lexus NX Hybrid is a vehicle that truly lives up to its name — the “NX” means “Nimble Crossover” — as it expertly straddles the gap in the Lexus lineup between the midsize RX and the subcompact UX. The result is the sort of hybrid that has proven remarkably adept at fitting a wide range of tastes and driving styles. There’s something for just about everyone in the NX Hybrid lineup, from top-end cabin technology to sporty trim setups.

Of course, some things are non-negotiable when it comes to a Lexus. Safety has always been a hallmark of the brand, and the standard Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 immediately makes the NX Hybrid a leader in the sort of driver-assist technology that creates a worry-free experience behind the wheel. You’ll also find every comfort and luxury feature imaginable, including standard 8-way adjustable power seats and fast-response interior heater for chilly days.

What the Critics Say

The Lexus NX Hybrid takes a practical foundation and gives it a luxury twist, aiming to deliver efficiency without sacrificing comfort or everyday usability.” – MotorTrend
If style, fuel efficiency, and comfort land at the top of your subcompact SUV wish list, the Lexus NX Hybrid might be what you’re looking for. Just like the nonhybrid NX, the NX Hybrid’s stellar cabin and placid ride offer the same sense of tranquility as a warm bath after a rough day.” – Car and Driver

What’s New for 2026

For the 2026 model year, Lexus added a front-wheel drive option to the 350h, meaning that each 350h trim level (350h, 350h Premium, 350h Luxury, and 350h F SPORT Handling) now has options for both front and all-wheel drive.

Additionally, Infrared has been introduced as a new paint color option in 2026, and Ultra White is now available on all vehicles as well.

Lexus NX Hybrid Interior

A Luxury Experience

Inside the Lexus NX Hybrid, you’ll find the latest in technology and comfort. Immediately, you’ll be greeted with the standard NuLuxe interior trim and available thematic ambient illumination, signaling that you’re about to begin an elevated driving adventure. The centerpiece of the cockpit is the standard Lexus Interface 9.8-inch touchscreen display (14.0-inch touchscreen display available) that connects you to a whole host of digital features, including Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility that keeps your favorite apps ready with one touch. That’s not all though; the Lexus NX Hybrid line has plenty of native tech goodies like the standard SmartAccess with a push-button start and stop, as well as Drive Connect, which includes cloud navigation, an intelligent assistant, and destination assist. Sitting behind the wheel of an NX Hybrid truly feels like a visit into the future of infotainment.

Lexus NX Hybrid Console

Legendary Safety

Every Lexus NX Hybrid vehicle comes standard with the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0. This industry-leading suite of driver-assistance features includes everything needed for a worry-free arrival, including full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road sign assist, which scans for traffic signs and projects them onto your dashboard display. Beyond that, of course, are the numerous safety measures that you’ve come to expect from a Lexus, like vehicle stability control, intuitive parking assist with automatic braking, a blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, and eight airbags. All of that is supported by a five-year subscription to Lexus Safety Connect, which enables access to features like Automatic Collision Notification, an SOS emergency button, and a Stolen Vehicle Locator. In other words, Lexus has done everything it can to make the NX Hybrid the safest place to be on four wheels.

Lexus NX Hybrid

Top Hybrid Performance

The Lexus NX Hybrid offers plenty of muscle, including a 240-horsepower 2.5-liter in-line 4 hybrid engine, with enhanced performance found in the all-wheel drive option available on every vehicle, all the way from the standard trim through the Premium, Luxury, and F SPORT Handling levels. While each includes the classic Lexus comfort and safety features, the F SPORT is optimized for true driving enthusiasts with an adaptive suspension system, aluminum pedals, and exterior detailing like color-matched wheel fender arches and a mesh grille insert.

Alongside all of that is the stellar fuel efficiency that’s expected of a hybrid. Each NX Hybrid offers, at minimum, an estimated 39 combined miles per gallon, while front-wheel drive models boast 40, up to 42 city miles per gallon.**
